Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a Gaelic Early Learning and Childcare Modern Apprentice at Sandbank Primary School. This position will provide an opportunity to learn on the job whilst gaining key transferable skills and a qualification which is essential to work within the sector, SVQ3 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7.
If you are Gaelic speaker, aged 16 to 24 (or aged 16-29 if either Care Experienced or Disabled*) and have an interest in Early Learning and Childcare, good communication skills, enthusiastic, willing to learn and have 3 National 5 qualifications or equivalent then we want to hear from you.
* Care Experienced – A young person who currently is or was looked after by a local authority, in the family home (with support from social services or a social worker) or elsewhere, for example, in foster care , residential/sevure care, or kinship care(with family friends or relatives)
