Working as part of the Community Learning and Development (CLD) team, you will be required to deliver community-based Gaelic Learning to groups of adults and young people. Along with colleagues, you will help to develop appropriate sessions to enable learners to progress in their writing, speaking and reading of Gaelic, while supporting the CLD locality team in the delivery of the core functions of Community Learning and Development.
You must have relevant qualifications at SVQ2/SCQF Level 5 and moderate experience of community-based work with adults or young people.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have knowledge of current Gaelic language developments, good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work a minimum of 3 hours per week on a term-time basis. The CLD Support Worker will be line managed by a CLD Worker within the locality team.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.
