Required for 28.25 hours per week, year round.
In conjunction with the manager and other Nursery staff, you will plan, through the medium of Gaelic, a curriculum which supports and guides children’s all round learning and development, and plan and organise the play session.
If you already have a childcare qualification we would love to hear from you (if you are successfully recruited you would be entitled to our rate of pay for qualified staff of £10.80+ £1.12 Distant Islands Allowance per hour)
If you are new to nursery work but are interested in developing new skills we can support you to achieve your qualification whilst you are working for us.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade.
You must have proven childcare experience working with young children and their families in an early years setting and a willingness to work toward a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council’s requirements for Practitioners.
The ability to speak and read Gaelic is essential for this post.
