You will be part of the Comhairle’s Customer Service Team responsible for providing a high quality service on behalf of the Comhairle. The postholder will be expected to cover all aspects of Customer Service work, carrying out procedures for the effective and efficient handling of face to face, telephone and digital contacts. Based primarily within the Town Hall, you would also provide cover for the main Comhairle Reception and the Harris Area Office in Tarbert.
You should have a knowledge and understanding of effective customer care, the ability to deal courteously and efficiently with customers by telephone and face to face and be IT literate with efficient keyboard skills. The ability to speak and understand Gaelic is desirable.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
