We are inviting applications for the role of Event Verifier in Gaelic (Learners) Modern Languages for Life and Work Award.

Successful applicants will undertake duties from 21-23 February 2020. An Event Verifier is responsible for supporting the Principal Verifier in maintaining national standards for the units within their remit by ensuring that all tasks associated with the quality assurance of internally assessed units are carried out within the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by SQA.

The primary role is to support and quality assure the work of SQA centres, for the Life and Work Award within their Modern Language, to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained.

Full details of the Event Verifier role can be found here. Event Verifiers will required 1 day of release on Friday 21 February 2020 and will be required to undertake duties in two days of their own time.

Release fees will be paid and / or standard own time fees apply for duties undertaken in own time.Training will be provided prior to verification activity on Friday 21 February 2020.
