Serving communities in South Shawbost, Dalbeag and Dalmore

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a passionate and qualified graduate to gain hands-on experience in community development while pursuing a fully funded MSc in Sustainability and Rural Regeneration through the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). Reporting to the Trust’s Business Manager, the Development Officer Graduate Trainee will play a key role in advancing the Trust’s Community Development Plan and delivering its charitable objectives.

Over three years, the trainee will gain real-world insights from experienced professionals. After completing the MSc, they will be offered a full-time role for one year with a salary increase, allowing them to apply their learning and contribute meaningfully to the community.

The ability to converse in Gaelic, and residency in the Horshader or surrounding area would be a strong advantage in this role.
