The Sound of Scotland's Traditions

Tobar an Dualchais is seeking a motivated, organised, and creative Gaelic speaker to join our team as a Gaelic Outreach & Permissions Officer. This role plays a vital part in connecting communities with the rich cultural heritage preserved in Tobar an Dualchais / Kist o Riches, with a particular focus on Areas of Linguistic Significance.

Working closely with Gaelic speakers, educators, and partner organisations, the post supports outreach in communities and schools which will raise awareness of local cultural heritage. This will then lead to permissions being sought for more recordings to be made available on the project website.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Gaelic culture and a commitment to widening access to Scotland’s oral heritage.
